Hearing a story helps
Sometimes it’s not enough to just sit still. The mind tends to wander. Outside distractions can appear louder and more invasive. And at times we may become frustrated with the whole quieting and stillness of the mind. It may feel like nothing’s working. In these cases, a good story can help us stay alert and absorbed, even as we gain experience with mindful presencing. Nalu Minds the Flow is just such a story.
Nalu minds the flow with 28 ten-minute tracks to help us build on our natural innate abilities to be present. We hear simple mindfulness practices through four weeks. The flow starts with breathing, moves to sensation, then deep observation, and finally gratitude. The story is told from the point of view of our main character, Nalu who finds themselves along the shoreline of the island they live on. We follow Nalu as they experiment with various presencing activites and go deeper as time goes on. Great for beginners and more seasoned practitioners.
