The first Friday of every September is Bring Your Manners to Work Day. Manners are important in all aspects of life. Since some of us actually spend the majority of our day at work, we need to heed these suggestions. Keep your work area neat. Don’t use your cell phone when in the company of others. Keep your voice at a quiet level while others are working. Good manners will go a long way to increasing business and having cooperative coworkers.

If work is becoming overwhelming and you feel your manners slipping, try some boxed breathing. It will calm you down and give you the boost to get back to those wonderful manners.
