Today, September 16th, is International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. The ozone layer is a section of Earth’s stratosphere that contains a proportionately high concentration of ozone (O3) molecules. It is about 6 to 19 miles above the Earth’s surface. This layer absorbs and blocks a large part of the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays, which are harmful and has a huge job of protecting the Earth.

Thinking about how this layer of the stratosphere is being depleted can be stressful. Use this boxed breathing exercise to be more calm.
